About The Naked Monkey

I started as a market trader in November 2002 after one too many redundancies. Having been around the employment circus a few times and done everything from barmaid to PA for an F1 events company, decided on one rainy day to set up The Naked Monkey.

Due to the lack of funky Fair Trade fashion available online this shop was set up.

Unfortunately The Naked Monkey no longer does events, this being due to the web site having taken off in the past year. But on the upside, I now have my daughters working for me, so we are now a truly family business!

The popularity of these alternative styles and being able to offer something different to the 'norm' has taken off.

All clothing and furniture on this web site is of the highest quality and best of all is Fair Trade, which means for every item you purchase a certain % goes back into the third world communities, namely Nepal– for schooling, medical aid and basically a better way of life!
